I’ve been in the ATM business since 2005 and brokering ATM transactions since 2012. During that time I built eight ATM routes spanning four states, gaining hands-on operating experience across the Western, Southern, and Northeastern United States. That real-world experience is what sets our valuations and deal guidance apart — I know what it actually takes to run an ATM business in every part of the country.
Over 200+ completed transactions totaling $75M+ in 35+ states, I’m considered a leader in ATM valuation, consultation, and buy/sell analysis. But what truly separates ATM Brokerage is the infrastructure I’ve built behind the scenes.

John Sosville: Partner, Broker
John is the operational engine of ATM Brokerage. As the lead broker on every deal, he manages the full transaction lifecycle — from initial seller consultation through valuation, buyer qualification, negotiation, and close. His ability to build trust on both sides of a deal and navigate complex multi-party transactions is what keeps our close rate among the highest in the industry.
Over the last decade, John has personally brokered over $100M in business and commercial property transactions, with particular expertise in deals ranging from $5M to $30M in total value. Combined with Jeff’s deal flow, ATM Brokerage has closed 200+ ATM transactions totaling $75M+ across 35+ states.
John’s ATM experience goes beyond brokering — he’s been an owner-operator. He purchased a small Denver-based ATM business and grew it into a portfolio spanning Colorado, South Carolina, and Georgia before selling the business in 2013 at a valuation exceeding $2.5M. That firsthand experience means he understands the operational realities, challenges, and value drivers that matter to both buyers and sellers.
Before ATM Brokerage, John spent nearly twenty years in strategic business development and M&A for technology companies, growing the businesses he worked with at an average rate of 50% per year. That background gives him a rare combination — he thinks like an operator, negotiates like a dealmaker, and understands technology and scale in a way most brokers in this space simply don’t.
John’s network within the ATM industry is unmatched. Years of relationship-building with operators, ISOs, processors, and service providers across the country means he knows who’s buying, who’s selling, and what’s happening in every major market — often before it hits the open market.
John is a Colorado licensed real estate broker and earned his undergraduate degree from Ft. Lewis College. He also studied internationally at the École Supérieure de Commerce International du Pas de Calais (ESCIP) in Longuenesse, France.
