ATM Routes for Sale in Phoenix, AZ
Phoenix is the most seasonal large ATM market in the country, and the routes here get mispriced twice a year because of it. ATM Brokerage has brokered Arizona routes since 2012.
The snowbird problem
The Valley adds several hundred thousand winter residents between November and April and loses them again by May. That swing shows up directly in transaction counts, and it is the single biggest source of bad underwriting on Phoenix routes. A seller showing you trailing numbers that end in March is showing you the peak. A route that looks like it does 300 transactions a machine may be doing 400 in February and 180 in July.
Always pull twenty-four months on a Phoenix route, and look at the June through September floor rather than the annual average. The floor is what you are actually buying. The winter is the bonus.
Where the machines are
West Valley and Mesa RV parks and 55-plus communities are the classic snowbird placements, high in season and near dead out of it. The steadier base comes from independent convenience stores and markets along the Van Buren, Indian School and Southern corridors, serving working neighborhoods that transact in cash year round.
Old Town Scottsdale nightlife and Mill Avenue in Tempe deliver weekend volume, with Mill following the ASU calendar closely enough that summer is a genuine trough. Swap meets across the metro are a category of their own and can be the best-performing machines in a route.
Servicing the Valley
Phoenix is flat, gridded and easy to drive compared with Los Angeles or Seattle, which keeps vault costs reasonable even across a spread-out route. The offsetting cost is heat: summer surface temperatures are hard on outdoor and through-the-wall units, and hardware age matters more here than in a temperate market.

No Phoenix route on the market right now?
Phoenix is one of the better metros in the country to place your own first machines, mostly because it keeps building. New strip retail opens constantly across the West Valley, Queen Creek and Buckeye, and a store that is three months old has no ATM and no incumbent operator to displace. Watch a few new centers open and you will find placements that nobody has called on yet.
We sell the hardware as well as broker the routes. ATM machines for sale has current pricing on 17 Genmega, Hyosung, Triton and Puloon models, and the ATM startup guide walks the whole thing from placement agreement to first vault load.
