ATM Routes for Sale in New Orleans, LA

New Orleans runs on cash and on a calendar, and both facts shape every ATM route in the city. ATM Brokerage has brokered Louisiana routes since 2012.

The calendar is the business

Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, French Quarter Fest, Essence, Sugar Bowl and a steady convention schedule mean New Orleans volume arrives in waves rather than in a flat line. A machine in the Quarter can do more in the two weeks around Carnival than in the following two months. Any seller here can produce a spectacular month if they choose which one to show you.

Twenty-four months of statements, read month by month, is the minimum for underwriting a New Orleans route. What you want to know is the September number, not the February one.

Quarter, and everywhere else

French Quarter and Bourbon Street placements are the highest-volume and highest-competition machines in the state, and they carry both the tourist upside and the venue-turnover risk. Frenchmen Street and the Marigny run a similar pattern at smaller scale with a more local crowd.

The steadier base comes from neighborhood corner stores, daiquiri shops and markets across Mid-City, Gentilly, Algiers and New Orleans East, serving a population where cash usage is structurally high. A route built only on the Quarter is a bet on tourism. A route with a real neighborhood base is a business.

Storm risk is underwriting

Hurricane exposure is a genuine line item here in a way it is not in most markets. Ask how the route performed in the months after the last significant storm, whether any locations closed permanently, and how quickly the operator got machines back in service. It tells you as much about the operator as about the route.

No New Orleans route on the market right now?

New Orleans is a relationship city, and the neighborhood corner stores and daiquiri shops outside the tourist core are where a new operator can realistically start. They are owner-run, the decision takes one conversation, and volumes are steady rather than seasonal. The Quarter is not a starter market at any price.

We sell the hardware as well as broker the routes. ATM machines for sale has current pricing on 17 Genmega, Hyosung, Triton and Puloon models, and the ATM startup guide walks the whole thing from placement agreement to first vault load.
