ATM Routes for Sale in Boston, MA
Boston is a dense, high-value ATM market with a student calendar written through it. ATM Brokerage has brokered Massachusetts routes since 2012 and currently works several New England portfolios.
Density cuts both ways
Boston routes have short drive times and low servicing costs by national standards, which is the good news. The bad news is that the same density makes the market competitive: good locations have usually been called on, and merchant commission expectations here are closer to New York than to the rest of New England.
Parking and access are real operational costs in the core. A vault run through Allston or the North End is slower than a map suggests.
The student cycle
Greater Boston holds an unusually large student population, and machines around Allston, Brighton, Fenway, Cambridge and Somerville follow the academic calendar closely — strong September through April, hollow from mid-May. A route weighted toward student neighborhoods needs its summer floor examined, and September revenue should never be annualized.
Where the steady volume is
The reliable base comes from neighborhood convenience stores, bodegas and markets in East Boston, Chelsea, Dorchester, Roxbury and Lynn, serving working and immigrant communities where cash usage is high year round. Those placements are what makes a Boston route bankable between semesters.
Downtown bars and the North End add weekend and tourist volume, and the seaport convention business adds an event layer.

No Boston route on the market right now?
Boston is a hard market to break into in the core and an easier one at the edges. Chelsea, Everett, Lynn and the outer neighborhoods have dense, owner-operated retail serving cash-heavy communities, with far less operator competition than Back Bay or Cambridge. That is where a new route can realistically start.
We sell the hardware as well as broker the routes. ATM machines for sale has current pricing on 17 Genmega, Hyosung, Triton and Puloon models, and the ATM startup guide walks the whole thing from placement agreement to first vault load.
